Woody Allen on Death
Переглядів 58 тис.12 років тому
I wish I didn't relate to Woody on this so much, but I do.
This is why I love Andrew Bird so much

The birdman kicks so much ass for being part of this great film.

This is how we acted growing up. I saw this and it totally took me back to those days.

Day 3 playing Last Day of Magic. The chemistry between Alison and Jamie was amazing! They put a very intense and intimate show. Very hard to accomplish at a festival. The Kills are truly the cool kids' White Stripes.
Al Gore's $100 GALLON OF GAS!

Al Gore could've used those $100 to buy ONE GALLON OF GAS!!!
Good For You, JACK!

Great clip with a classic line I use all the time. People can now know what the hell I'm referencing now.

I created this using a foam ball and bottle caps from Aquafina water bottles.
Woody takes his depression too seriously..... that's why he's so miserable 🤔
What's Jon Lovitz' favorite kind of cheese?
He's so right - we are all in a state of denial of, or distraction from our inevitable destruction. Love his honesty.
I agree with Woody Allen.Nothing matters. We are all dead for eternity.
Everyone here thinking they get the joke but they don’t. The joke isn’t “gas will be expensive in the future” the joke is “jokes about gas being expensive in the future are so unfunny, here is a non-joke about them where a joke would normally go”. And that’s ten times funnier.
This song is dedicated to the band manager Rob Gretton who died from a heart attack in 1999... 😢
"We all know the same truth and our lives consist of how we choose to distort it."
you matters
The knowledge of permanent death is a gift in that, with a certain perspective and assuming positive conditions, allows one to relish the only thing we can be certain of: the now we have. We've all been dead for billions of years and then our consciousness came to be. The only thing that matters to us is when we are conscious, a state of being that's only found in a relatively tiny amount of mass in our universe. Appreciate it and its manifestation in others. There's little time to waste.
Pedofiel
What’s that
What a beautiful song
Ok
Everyone’s always talking about the inflation joke with the gallon of gas, but nobody is acknowledging how brilliant the ramp joke was.
Fr
Btw, that’s the actual al gore playing himself. He’s done it multiple times for groening, including as a talking head on futurama in some episodes.
I believe his daughter was one of the writers
its like the simpsons man they can predict shit
They didnt predict anything, gas price inflation was always a problem.
mfs who have never heard of public transport when gas goes to $999.99 for the 56th time this month:
The democrats are working as hard as they can to make that happen.
Im suprised noone pointed out thats AL FUCKING GORE
Idiots typing "thanks biden" as if the US were the only country affected
Guys, this is always going to "age well" because gas prices will, in general, increase. It wasn't something novel in 2000 and it still shouldn't be in 2023
Preach
🤓🤓🤓🤓
Yes, but because gas prices have skyrocketed so much recently is the reason people are saying that.
@@davefred "this his extra hard right now" would be such a better comment though
@@joeym5243 It really doesn't matter
😳
Difference is, alot of this was Al Gore fearmongering (alot of his campaign money actually came from chemical and oil lobbies). He was extremely exaggerating the rate of oil reserve depletion, reality is the price is going up just because the supply rates are controlled by OPEC, if all OPEC countries went full production the market would flood and crash. But the main factor is simply the devaluation of currency through inflation and the increased taxes and tacked on state fee's. Your money is simply not worth what it was thirty years ago, and average salaries have not increased to compensate for it.
Al Gore predicted it, but you all voted for Bush and Trump like idiots.
Who's the president now dummy?
@@filozof90 Biden is president and he made the biggest policy for climate relief.
@@JustAGuyProduction And? Gas was 2$ under trump, your argument is invalid. Fact is for most people it's day to day issues that matter more than vague predictions of the future. >B-BUT IF WE DONT STOP DRIVING CARS YOUR ANUS WILL EXPLODE LAVA MOLES THAT EAT YOU IN THREE YEARS Don't care, fix it without fucking the country in the ass.
@@yeager1957 gas was never $2 and the reason inflation is so bad is because Donald failed to handle Covid.
@@yeager1957Imagine still acting like climate change is this far off prediction when California and Hawaii is on fire, Florida and Louisiana are being swamped with nonstop water, and Arizona is as hot as a literal oven right now. 😂 Climate change deniers just don't deny science, you people deny reality around you. 😅
Argentinian pesos be like
Whats the point?
Thanks Biden.
Thank you for making me read "Denial of Death." It ruined my life lol.
Futurama did it again...
2022 be like.. hold my beer and watch this.
Now it's Biden's $100 gallon
Blame Russia for it not Biden
@@carlosdavis7978 why? Gas was double the pice months before the war
Every state has different gas prices for different reasons, California is because there's so many additives and taxes
@@carlosdavis7978 Russia has nothing to do with it. Russian oil accounted for less than 1.5% of oil from all sources. Biden shutting down nearly 50% of all US domestic oil production contributed far more to the hike in prices than Russia.
Gas has been fine for the past 9 months?????
the name of the full interview?
I was scared of death but after my father passed away, I think Im considerably less scared of it now.
@@fionasatrap3309Yeah hopping that there is something

"Where I grew up in Brooklyn no one committed suicide they were too unhappy." Why does this make sense? It shouldn't...
Why does futurama have to be so relevant? I mean, did Nostradamas write the script or something?
These jokes were relevant when it was made. If anything it just shows times don't change that much.
Applies to Spring 2022 😭
Is that sharon stone?
Yes.
I think our life is taking the blue pill. Which means we don't admit we will die cause that will make us happy and not suffer till it happens
Religion is the blue pill. Red pill is thinking of the possibility that they may be nothing and that it's very probable. We can't understand infinity of space and time. It drives us crazy.
Being Smart is hell!
Yeap sometimes I would just prefer to be one of those happy overly religious people

WOODY WOULD LIKE TO LIVE WITHOUT HAVING TO DIE HE CAN!!! BY BELIEVING IN JESUS WHO SAID HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE LIFE EVERLASTING!!! EVANGELIST ROGER MANSOUR MESSIANIC JEW
The fact that you even believe that YOUR God is evil enough to let die for ever people who didn't believe in him nor never even heard of him just shows how religions are insane and deeply evil. I don't believe a single second that if there is indeed a form of conscious creator, a form of after life (I really hope) etc that God will judge us and let the ones that didn't believe just die forever, this is absolutely selfish. We don't even control our beliefs.
This hits differently today.😐
